No good farmer would expect their harvest to prosper without diligent cultivation and care, and very few of us would omit to service and care for our car... but how many of us are as conscientious in taking care of one of (if not the most) important resources we have – ourselves?

Having courage is a skill, like being able to see the adventure in the unknown rather than the uncertainty of not knowing. And the awesome thing about skills is that they are something that can be learned.

My passion is for helping people to build their success, their way. While everyone defines success differently, every success begins with a strong CORE… a strong ‘personal’ core that is…

For a long time, I felt I needed to be able to do it all on my own. I was fiercely determined to be able to stand on my own two feet without the need to rely on others. Noble? Perhaps. Wise? Perhaps not.

Take a moment to consider how you can be a part of something bigger.

From time to time we may wonder what our purpose in life is… why do we exist, why are we here – but, while we are figuring that out, with a little thought and attention, we can actively live our life with intention and purpose. We can be our best selves and live a life we love.

Every day we have a choice… a choice to go through the motions or to take a step toward being our best self.

I believe most of us have the best of intentions. But honestly, are we really bringing our “A game”?

So how do you know what your strengths are? I think this is a great question – for a long time I thought everyone could do what I did… but the fundamental truth is we are all different. We can each do many things, but we all have different strengths.

Is it time for a strengths stocktake?

Every morning we wake to a unique environment. Our home, our workplace, our world… each have a complex combination of moments that means we need to be ready to adapt at any given time.

How do you maintain awareness of how your environment is impacting or influencing your behaviour?

In much the same way we dress for success – put on that outfit that has us look and feel more confident and encourages our personal power to shine - we can choose a ‘power frame’ for our mind.
